It has been 19 years since the untimely death of the Tejano music star Selena. Years & months before her death her music had a big impact on the Latin community & it was beginning to have a bigger impact on the music lovers of other races as well. She was beginning to be known as a big cross over artist in the music industry. Sadly before her career went to new heights her precious life was taken away by the hands of Yolanda Saldivar. Now many years later her fans are continuing to live out her legacy through her music & the movie biopic Selena that was played by Jennifer Lopez.
A few days ago members of her fan base banded together to get a special project in the name of Selena to be released through a major company.
The fans wrote up a petition on the popular website Change.org to get the attention of MAC Cosmetics company. They pitched the idea to the company for them to release a special make-up line that will represent the Latina community.
Over the course of Selena's short-lived life she has proven time & time again that she is a timeless beauty. If she were still alive she would be the perfect spokeswoman for the cosmetics company. Due to the positive efforts of her fans MAC has now responded to the demand of the line.
