R&B music veteran Monica begin recording the follow up to her 2012 album New Life last year. Her last album produced the hit tracks "Until It's Gone" & the very popular song "It All Belongs To Me" featuring Brandy. The Grammy award winner has announced the title of the new album that is slated to be released sometime this year.

Monica has teamed up with Polow Da Don to help with the production of her 8th studio album. She announced on instagram to her fans that she has named the new project Code Red. It will be very interesting to hear exactly why she decided to name the album this, but any fans of Monica's knows that she always has a positive reason for her choices in her career & life.
Monica shared a photo on her Instagram of herself and a songwriter that wrote a special song that truly touched her heart.
