JORDIN SPARKS SIGNS W/ NEW RECORD LABEL

Last month former American Idol & actress Jordin Sparks released a new mixtape that she titled #ByeFelicia that served up it's first track that was a remix to Drake's popular song "How Bout Now". The song seems to speak about her highly publicized break-up with her singer boyfriend Jason Derulo. Now just weeks after the mixtapes release Sparks has signed with a new record label named Louder Than Life which is a label under Sony Music

Get more details after the jump.

Listen to "How Bout Now" HERE.

Louder Than Life record label was founded by producer & record executive Salaam Remi. In a new press release Jordin expressed her excitement to be working alongside Salaam on her forthcoming studio album that many can expect sometime in 2015.

"I am very excited to be working alongside Salaam Remi on my next album. Together, we have created something special. I'm very proud of it & can't wait to share it!"

While many people may think that Jordin was dropped from her label RCA Records that necessarily may not be true due to the fact that they are also under Sony Music. She has been with this label ever since she was on American Idol during the beginning years of her music career.
