Last night BET aired their Black Girls Rock special that honored African-American women in the industry that was hosted by actress Tracee Ellis Ross & Regina King. The exciting night saw tribute performances from Jennifer Hudson, Kelly Rowland & Jonelle Monae. The night kicked off with Monae performing "Electric Lady" followed by J Hud delivering "I Can't Describe (The Way I Feel)" for the very first time.

Next up was Kelly Rowland who collaborated with rapper Eve & singer Sevyn for the remix to her song "Gone" from her current album Talk A Good Game. Mariah Carey graced the stage as she presented Patti Labelle with the Living Legend Award, follow by Jennifer Hudson honoring Queen Latifah by giving her the Rock Star Award.
