Lauryn Hill has been going though a lot of legal woes & is currently in prison but will be released very soon. It has also been awhile since she has released any new music & quite frankly her unique & poetic music style is greatly missed in the industry & among her fans. Ms. Hill unleashes a new song entitled "Consumerism" which was pre-recorded before entering prison, the song speaks on some of the things she had to face during the past few months or earlier in her life.

While this track is surely not for everyone & many will not understand some of the topics she speaks on this sound is not a far stretch from some of her previous material. For many years Lauryn has used her music to express herself & speak on some crucial topics personally & in the world. The new song will be featured on her next project called Letters From Exile.
