LIL' MO, CHANTE MOORE & CLAUDETTE ORTIZ COVER "THE HOLLYWOOD ISSUE" OF KONTROL MAGAZINE

The drama truly unfolded during the first season of R&B Divas: L.A. that gave fans a glimpse into the lives of r&b singer Lil. Mo, Kelly Price, Chante Moore,Claudette Ortiz, Michel'le & Dawn Robinson. While things started off with love it surely didn't end that way, but beyond the television screen Chante, Lil' Mo & Claudette have a story to tell even deeper then what was displayed in their monologues on the finale episode of the season. All three ladies are flawlessly gracing the September issue of Kontrol magazine with the subtitle The Real Divas of L.A.

Read excerpts from the cover interview below.

The ladies were asked what made them make the decision to do a reality tv show & they responded with the following:

Lil' Mo: I never thought in a million years I'd do reality tv but I'm glad that I did because it's given me an opportunity to get back out there & really promote what I love to do which is music. I was asked about the Atlanta cast but when I found out about L.A., I knew I was a better fit.

Claudette Ortiz: I've been approached to do reality tv but I wanted to make sure this was something worth pursuing seeing as I have three children. I didn't want it to be exploitive & negative.

Chante Moore: I was asked to share my life & the focus was going to be on my music, that's what I liked about it.

Afterwards they were asked what made the L.A. cast different from the cast of Atlanta?

Claudette Ortiz: The location makes a difference.

Lil' Mo: We have more notable songs & we're cuter, young hip hop & r&b. We act younger & more fun.

The Hollywood Issue of Kontrol magazine will be released on September 20th.
