FEMALE RAP'S MISSING LINK: LORE'L "BILLBOARD BYTCH"

It has been a very long time since their has been a hand full of hip hop female mc's that represented for women through their music with catchy lyrics mixed with feminism. If it wasn't for Nicki Minaj their current state of hip hop from a women's point of view with be completely non-existent, but the question is..... is the genre of female mc's dead? Their is a artist by the name of Lore'l that has been rapping for a few years now, but because of her role on VH1's hit reality show Love & Hip Hop: New York her artistry as a female mc has been pushed to the forefront. Even though Minaj's music has been embraced from the street's of hip hop to the suburbs of pop music many feel that she has gone too main stream to be classified as that "hood" artist that she once was. Lore'l has released her new mixtape entitled Billboard Bytch & from beginning to end she embraces what real hip hop embodies & has completely resurrected a genre that over time has faded to black.

Get to know Lore'l after the cut.

With her new mixtape Lore'l showcases her talents as a female mc with her smooth & cocky lyrics on songs like "Tear The Club Up", "Outta They League", "A Hundred" & "We Go Together"
