We have not seen a lot of Nicki Minaj lately besides her weekly spot on talent show American Idol, but yesterday she has revealed that she is returning to the studio for the follow of album to last years Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded & The Re-Up. Even with selling over 18 million singles worldwide since the start of her career just a few short years ago many have wondered if Minaj is close to being a thing of the past. She took to her twitter account to talk to her fellow Barbz & to answer some of their questions.

We can only wonder what Minaj's new music will sound like, it can already be ruled out that the old hip-hop street sound that she once had will not be featured on the new album. It will most likely have a mixed sound of hip-hop rap & pop so that she can cater to all audiences of her fans around the world which she has already proven to execute with her previous work like "Pound The Alarm" & "Starships".
