The music industry has become very use to the leaking of many artists albums over the years & as of recently Chris Brown has become a victim. Yesterday CB's forthcoming album Fortune leaked to the internet a week before it's official release date of July 3rd. Sadly many websites all over the internet have given their readers the chance to stream the new music which Brown was absolutely upset & frustrated about which he expressed via twitter last night. He tweeted saying:
"Team Breezy should not be listening to the album yet" & then he went on to say that he "gave y'all free music all year". He then ended the rant with the hashtag #Buymyshit
It is very understandable how Chris feels, but as long as his fans purchase his album on it's day of release that's all that matters. Many know that one of the biggest things that is killing the industry is illegal downloading of music which helps a artists exposure but is not profitable in the end. Hopefully with this unFORTUNATE circumstance he will go on to sell many units of the new album.
