CARRIE UNDERWOOD SUPPORTS GAYS & EQUAL MARRIAGE

Just a few weeks ago while in Philadelphia rapper Jay-Z spoke with CNN when he expressed his views on the gay marriage topic & by surprise he showed his support for the LGBT community. The world was also shocked when the president of the United States Barack Obama jumped on the bandwagon & let the world know that he was standing by the gays & supported them 100 percent which will be sure to help him gain even more votes when election season roles around. Just recently while talking with UK newspaper The Independent country superstar Carrie Underwood gave her straight forward & very positive opinion on the pressing topic that have been a big discussion on many news stations around the world.

Read what she said after the cut.

“Our church is gay-friendly,” she responds, seeming suddenly energised. “Above all, God wanted us to love others. It’s not about setting rules, or [saying] ‘everyone has to be like me’. No. We’re all different. That’s what makes us special. We have to love each other and get on with each other.” Then she offers a totally unexpected, unequivocal endorsement of gay marriage. “As a married person myself, I don’t know what it’s like to be told I can’t marry somebody I love, and want to marry. I can’t imagine how that must feel. I definitely think we should all have the right to love, and love publicly, the people that we want to love.”
